Overview
Assist the management in going Beyond the Expected to provide an exceptional living environment for the residents of a 214-unit apartment community in Sarasota, FL, through maintenance and upkeep.
Responsibilities
Demonstrate a superior work ethic and attitude
Daily completion of resident maintenance requests
Full maintenance of apartments prior to new residents moving in (no painting)
Repair and upkeep of property including all buildings and grounds (no lawn care)
Evening, night, and weekend on-call responsibilities on a rotating basis
All other duties as assigned by management
Skills
Diagnosis and repair of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC (wall units), and basic carpentry
Must be organized, neat, and detail oriented
Dedicated to customer service and resident satisfaction
Able to work independently and be self-motivated
Requirements
2+ years previous maintenance experience preferred
Excellent physical condition with no restrictions – able to lift 50+ lbs
Physical, drug test, and background check required
Provide own tools
Valid driver’s license
Reliable attendance
Must live onsite or within 7 miles of property
Compensation
Job Type: Full-time (40 hours per week)
Pay: $20.00/hour (DOQ)
