Don’t Miss Twin Cities Restaurant Week!
Tuesday, February 17th, 2015
Calling all Twin Cities foodies: restaurant week is returning February 22-27! If you’ve been to restaurant week already, you probably already have it marked on your calendar, but for those of you who are new to this event, we’ve got the details.
Restaurant week takes place a few times each year and offers great specials at your favorite restaurants. Participating restaurants will serve two-course lunches for $10-$20 and three-course dinners for $15-$30 (beverage, tax, and gratuity not included).
Restaurant week started in New York City in 1992, but now hundreds of cities across the country participate in the festivities. So what’s all the fuss about? Well, restaurants offering a $15-$30 three-course dinner would typically charge about $80-$150 for the same meal any other week. The Twin Cities restaurant week started in 2007 as a way to connect foodies with the best Twin Cities dining at an affordable price. Since then it’s become a tradition many Minnesotans have embraced.
Below is a list of just a few of our favorite restaurants that are participating in restaurant week this year. For a full list and menus, visit mspmag.com and select Restaurant Week under the Promotions tab.
