Eagle Residents Open New Restaurant

Lands End Pasty – sounds tasty!

Two of our very own residents have opened a new restaurant in the Dinkytown area of Minneapolis called Lands End Pasty Company (nestled between Shuang Cheng & Varsity Bike and Transit). Jon and Pete’s unique dine in/take-out restaurant specializes in, what else? Delicious pasties!  Jon decided to pursue his dreams of opening a British restaurant after his many travels to England, which included plenty of stops for delicious pasty noshing.

What is a pasty, you ask? This delicious British food item is a baked pastry made by placing uncooked filling (typically of meat and vegetables) on a flat pastry circle and folding it to wrap the filling. After it’s baked, the pasty ends up looking something like a pizza calzone.

Lands End Pasty opened its doors on June 27 and has been a big hit in the Dinkytown area ever since. You can grab a Lands End pasty for yourself Monday through Friday, from  11:30 a.m. – 7:30 pm.  We are so proud of our Eagle Ridge residents and are happy to see all of their hard work pay off!
