New Year. New You. Same Great Amenities!

What better time than the New Year to resolve to make changes or improvements in our lives? For many of us, that means hitting the gym or working on shaping up our health in some way. A study performed by the University of Scranton. Journal of Clinical Psychology (published by statisticbrain.com) reported that 62% of Americans have made New Year’s resolutions in the past and that the most common resolutions in 2014 were to:

 

  1. Lose weight
  2. Get organized
  3. Spend less, save more
  4. Enjoy life to the fullest
  5. Stay fit and healthy
  6. Learn something exciting
  7. Quit smoking
  8. Help others in their dreams
  9. Fall in love
  10. Spend more time with family

 

It’s difficult to argue against making any of those habits a priority in life, yet this study showed that only 8% of Americans are successful in achieving their resolution. Gulf Gate Apartments is here to help – at least with a couple of them!

 

Get fit in the comfort of your own community

The Fitness Center in the clubhouse is open 24 hours a day and has a variety of aerobic and weight equipment to meet all your fitness needs. Bring your music player, watch the TV, or chat with your neighbors while you strive to meet your goal! If you are interested in finding a partner to work out with, sign up in the Rental Office.
