Ski, Skate, Snowshoe, Sled, or Hike. Lebanon Hills is Great for Winter Sports

Did you know that Salem Green residents live near one of the best outdoor recreation areas in the Twin Cities? Lebanon Hills, which is a Dakota County Regional Park in Eagan, offers some great winter activities. There are miles upon miles of groomed trails for cross country skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, and mountain biking. You can even rent skis, boots, poles, and snowshoes at the park’s Visitor Center, making it easy to try out a new winter sport. Plus, there is great sledding on a wonderfully big hill next to the Visitor Center, and the park has ice skating on one of the many lakes dotting the landscape.

Lebanon Hills covers almost 2000 acres, which means you can ski, hike, or walk on miles upon miles of trails and feel fully immersed in nature. If you are itching to get outdoors and exercise, Lebanon Hills is a great place to go. Check out this review from City Pages:
